Welcome to the Hestia Region

"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but having new eyes."

Locations

Sabbas Town

Labeled on the map as (1), Sabbas Town is where the majority of Hestia trainers begin their journeys. It is quite the the casual town, filled with bungalows, cottages, and other environmentally-friendly homes. One can also expect to see the Pokémon Lab, where Professor Mahogany gives trainers the choice of three special pokémon; Torchic, Snivy, and Froakie.

Pyrrhus Village

Labeled on the map as (2), Pyrrus Villiage is the first stop in a Hestian's journey. Here, there are not many homes, but many food markets. Nearly every building sells some kind of food, ranging from bread, to vegetables, to even alcoholic beverages. A perfect place for you and your partner pokémon to bond!

Delphina Crossway

Labeled on the map as (3), Delphina Crossway is a humble town and the next stop on a Hestian's journey. This town serves merely as a pit stop for trainers, who can travel one of four routes; north, east, south, or west. To the west, trainers can find a hidden pathway to a set of islands. Sadly, the route to the east is commonly blocked by a sleepy Snorlax. This town also offers town maps for travelling trainers.

The Crecens islands

Labeled on the map as (4) and (5), the Crecens islands are two rather unique spots in all of Hestia. They are accessible by ferry, and are popular tourist sites for romantic activities. Every night, the moon is fully visible from these islands. If one were to venture deep into the thick and confusing jungles of the islands, they would find ruined altars and temples, seemingly left behind by worshippers of legendaries.

Paschalis Villa

Labeled on the map as (6), Paschalis Villa is what you would expect from an old-time village. Brick pathways, small homes, and a fairly large clocktower in the middle. Street performers are common here.

Photine Mine

Labeled on the map as (7), Photine Mine is a popular mining spot in Hestia. It's the prime source for collecting gemstones, evolution stones, and much more. There is even a jewellery store for those looking for stylish accessories. The Rock-Type Gym is situated in this town.

Viatrix Cave

Labeled on the map as (8), Viatrix Cave is the darkest place in Hestia. This cave has absolutely no light at all, the only thing to guide you being if your pokémon knows Flash. This cave serves as a trial that only determined trainers can pass. If you are proven to be worthy, you will find yourself on the path up to Acadius Mountain. All others can only get from one side of the cave to the other.

Acadius Mountain

Labeled on the map as (9), Acadius Mountain is the second highest point in Hestia. This mountain is accompanied by 24-hour snowstorms. Only those who have been proven to be worthy are able to get up here, so very few have seen the top. It is said that if a human brings forth all 18 elemental plates and places them on the correct pedestals, a powerful pokémon will appear before them...

Kalypso Town

Labeled on the map as (10), Kalypso Town is the Town on the other side of cave. This pleasant town is known for it's flowery hills and traditional homes. The flowers let out a sweet aroma, keeping weak-minded trainers trapped there forever. The Grass-Type Gym Leader resides in this humble town.

The Gym Leaders

The Grass Leader.

Position Available.

The Water Leader.

The Water Leader is Arda. He is quite the timid boy, often to shy away from any conversations if he feels he is not needed. But when it comes to what he believes in, he'll grow more of a backbone. When it comes to battling, he is a strategic battler, and will do whatever it takes to win no matter how dirty. But while this is all he seems to be on the outside, he is hiding something deep in his heart.

The Dark Leader.

Position Available.

The Ghost Leader.

The Ghost Type Leader is Hades. He is a rather funky leader who enjoys acting and Hestian Mythology. Most of his gym is based around exactly that - and it's often you'll find him in cosplay of a god he likes. The cosplays are all handmade, or commissioned. He also has a younger brother, who sometimes takes up being a leader with Hades' team and follows the tradition of cosplaying.

The Rock Leader.

Position Available.

The Ground Leader.

To be filled in soon.

The Steel Leader.

The Steel Leader is Angelia. She's young, aggressive, and feels no shame. She speaks to all with pet names, such as "babe" and "hun". Her gym is fairly dark, the only illumination being from the large, turning gears allowing light to peek in. All battles must occur in the near pitch-black room.

The Fairy Leader.

To be filled in soon.

The Fire Member is Vanille Chambers. She is a police officer, and comes from a family of them. When she isn't accepting challengers, she goes around the region to make sure no trouble is brewing.

The Champion

The champion of the Hestia Region is Juliet, a cheeky and sadistic queen who desires to be treated like royalty. She wields a powerful team mainly consisting of Dark and Psychic Type Pokémon. If you ever make it far enough to challenge her, be prepared to deal with serious power.

Team Dryad

Cybele is the leader of Team Dryad, and the self-proclaimed Guide to the "Promised Land". Ever since she was separated from her family after the forest they all lived in was destroyed and built over, Cybele cursed out humanity's name and has done everything in her power to stop industrial advancement ever since the age of 10. Cybele formed Team Dryad in secret in order to find the 18 elemental plates to summon the Alpha Pokémon, Arceus, and use its power to transform the world into the lush, green "Promised Land" without the need for humankind.
